You can record material consumption and report on it with Dynamics 365 Business Central. Read this article for more information on this.
are you using Field Service or Business Central? If you're using Field Service, you can use Dashboards, PowerBI or SSRS reports to see material consumption of Work Order Product Records that were "Used".
