This is a similar post that I did a few years back. At the time I could not find an answer, and was hoping someone today someone would have a creative solution.
I am working with SmartConnect (eConnect) to do a cash receipts integration into GP. SmartConnect has an adapter that uses the e-connect nodes. We would like to both upload and apply the payments as part of the same process. Note this is a single currency transaction in US dollars.
The cash receipts portion works fine, but if I try to apply payments as part of the same integration I am unable to. I understand this may be due to the taRMApply intended to only apply transactions that are already posted. Is this correct? Is there a way to apply payments as part of the same upload process?
Please advise. Look forward to a response.
