This is a similar post that I did a few years back. At the time I could not find an answer, and was hoping someone today someone would have a creative solution.

I am working with SmartConnect (eConnect) to do a cash receipts integration into GP. SmartConnect has an adapter that uses the e-connect nodes. We would like to both upload and apply the payments as part of the same process. Note this is a single currency transaction in US dollars.

The cash receipts portion works fine, but if I try to apply payments as part of the same integration I am unable to. I understand this may be due to the taRMApply intended to only apply transactions that are already posted. Is this correct? Is there a way to apply payments as part of the same upload process?

Please advise. Look forward to a response.

I don't believe the situation has changed.

I have a number of sites automating applying transactions using this free sample code with GP Power Tools.

Appreciate the feedback. Right now the volume is fairly low that they can easily apply. Should the volume pick up, we'll definitely look at the code.
