Released product details - Overdelivery and underdelivery

Hi

I fairly new to AX and currently I am creating product details in the system.

I the tab Purchase, I find Overdelivery and Underdelivery - I found that the field are in % - Correct me if I am wrong.

My question is:

Does the value in the field +/-100% or +/- 0%?

(For example if i write 15 in Overdelivery does that mean maximum 115% total or 15% delivered of the total ordered quantity - And in Underdelivery if I write 85 does mean minimum 185% or 85% of the total ordered quantity?)

So how shall the field be filled?

I have the same question for the fields in "sell".

Thanks in advance

    Hi,

If you have a purchase order line with 100 quantity, and your overdelivery is 10%, that means you can receive up to 110. If you try to receive 120, application will say that overdelivery percentage of 20% is required to complete that action, however you allow only 10% so it can not be done. So, it will stop you.

I always set Underdelivery to 100%. Because, in the scenario above if you would like to receive 80 and cancel the order line, that means you are receiving 20% less. Since you should be able to cancel the whole order as well it should be set to 100%.
