Hello everyone, I am facing the issue while using import option through data management. I tried with multiple excel files but the problem is still there. I am getting it while doing the upload and add option. Basically what is happening is: when I tried to upload the excel file and click upload and add button. The environment keep saying Please wait and after 15-20 min it say wait or cancel. So when I click wait then it again goes on not responding stage and then give below error. This was working fine till last night but i don't know why it keep saying this morning. Need some expert advises.

System.ServiceModel.ProtocolException: The remote server returned an unexpected response: (400) Session is lost.
---> System.Net.WebException:
The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at

    Hi Muhammad,

    Could restart the Data management service from LCS and retry after few minutes ?

    Go to the environment homepage on LCS.

    Maintain -> Restart service -> Data management workspace

    then confirm.

    Hi Muhammad,

    Do you have this issue for both import and export? If yes, you can try to restart the service as it is mentioned by Komi.

    Hi Komi,

    Thanks for your feedback. One question, will this restart option only restarts the sandbox environment or also production environment at same time? If it restart both then I might have to do this in off hours.

    Thanks

    Hi Muhammad,

    Then you need to restart the service for the specified environment. If it is UAT, you can login to LCS and then choose the project and then environment (i.e. UAT) and click on on Maintain to restart Data management workspace.

    You need to have environment manager role to run this function in LCS for this project.

    An addition to Alireza Eshaghzadeh comment,

    if this happens on PROD, you would have to raise a support ticket to Microsoft to restart the service for you.
