Hi guys, hope you are fine.

I'm actually trying to access a finance and operation development environment via visual studio by downloading the VHD of the app and opening it locally.

As you can see in the following screenshot, in the /downloadable/ section in LCS there are various VHDs, I downloaded the 10.0.37 ones (all the part)

Those are my question:
1. I'm following the right path in order to access the dev env of finance and operations?
2. How can i /aggregate/ all the different parts of the VHD?

Thank you for your attention.

    Hello,

I'm glad to hear you're diving into Finance and Operation development with D365. Great job on downloading the 10.0.37 VHDs from the /downloadable/ section in LCS!
For an even faster download experience, consider using azcopy. It's an efficient tool, especially for large files. Just a quick tip: ensure that the first file is in .exe format, while the subsequent ones are in .rar.

    install azcopy
(don't forget to change directory to azcopy path)
azcopy copy "SAS Link" "C:\Temp\VM37\VHD FinandOps10.0.37.part001.exe"
azcopy copy "SAS Link" "C:\Temp\VM37\VHD FinandOps10.0.37.part00[2..5].rar"

U can get the SAS link like this:

Feel free to reach out if you need any more assistance or have questions along the way. Happy coding!
    Best regards,
    Hatem

Yes, downloading the VHD from LCS and creating a Hyper-V VM is one of the options I mentioned in your last two threads.

When you download the files, run VHD FinandOps10.0.37.part001.exe to extract the VHD. Note that you can find such information in F&O documentation, e.g. Deploy and access development environments.
