Hi,
Once the workflow is submitted, I'm facing the below error. The user has system admin role.
I have tried deleting the user and adding the user again and assigning the appropriate role, still when the WF is resumed, facing the below error. Can anyone help what is missing?

"X++ Exception: Work item could not be created. Insufficient security permissions for user *********. Please review the user's security permissions to ensure they are sufficient for this workflow document and then resume the workflow."

I have the same question (0)

How is the workflow assignment done in this case? Perhaps the error is from anothe user. I've seen this type of error when the assignment is done to a user group and one of the users in the user group does not have enough permission on the system workflow tables.

Hi there Good day please tell me if you have created  customised roles?

please go to the user profile and check which security roles he have currently including duties, privileges and display value items.

then go to the relevant page from where you are submitting the Workflow. check under the option fast tab Security diagnostic that will give the idea which roles are necessary to perform the task. and assign that roles to the user.

i hope so it will work otherwise open the workflows and check if any conditions are made necessary and do the above necessary actions.

    Thank you .

    Hi RSX,

Who is the approver for the particular work item created?

May be that user won't have sufficient permission to the workflow objects.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

Hi, In which step its getting this error. Since you have System Admin role so probably as Girish mentioned, it will be the approver who's missing security permissions.

I have checked under  option fast tab > Security diagnostic and those roles are assigned to the 2 users who are the approvers.

Both the users have the security roles necessary. There is no additional condition mentioned too.

Tried to resume, still facing same error.

Can you try reassigning the workflow to your name and then resume the workflow. See if it works without any error.

If the workflow processed without any error, then there may be the security related issues to the other approvers.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.
