Incoming email to an alias address does not show in queue

We have setup a queue to receive an email from shared mailbox support@a.ca  which has an alias email named as Help@a.ca 
 
email sent to the alias does does not show in the queue. only the ones sent to the primary address.
We are running CRM 2016 on prem hypred config with exchange online.
 
Appreciat any clue.

    Hi Alaa.

    I'm pretty sure nothing has changed in the past updates of D365/CRM 2016 and that you cannot use an alias(mailadress) for syncing against an Exchange mailbox.
    You can use shared mailboxes, but the mailadress needs to be the primary SMTP of the shared mailbox and not an email alias.
