Hi all

I have a question on Campaign entity, Campaign is still being used in Marketing app or it will be deprecated? I have check on Campaign Activity and saw that this form will be deprecated, so I wonder that Campaign and Campaign Activity will be no longer used in Dynamics 365?

    Hi Duy Bao.

You can find the definition of "Deprecated" in the following doc:

Important changes (deprecations) coming in Power Apps, Power Automate and customer engagement apps - Power Platform | Microsoft Docs

And in the doc, the Deprecated features have been listed but do not contain Campaign Activity. I have tested that it still can be used so far. There is no official documentation of a specific deprecation date. Of course it could just be that the current form is deprecated.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Hi Nya,

I have checked on my new trial org and find out that Campaign is not listed in site map of Marketing app. In another org that had created before, I can see that Campaign is still listed in Marketing App. So I afraid that Campaign is not gonna be used in the near future. And we need to build a solution on this feature for client. If Campaign feature is deprecated in the near future, we have to build it from scratch and it will take lots of effort on it.

Hope that Microsoft will have an official planning document on Campaign feature.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the sharing.

But Campaign is not listed in Marketing by default. In Marketing app, the entrance is in the form of Marketing List.

Maybe you have customized the app in a previous environment.

On the other hand, the entity is listed in the Sales app by default.

If you're sure you haven't done a customization before and can't find the portal now, you can also turn to MS ticketing for more help.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,

    Nya
