Simple PO / New WMS question

So I'm in the process of learning AX R3 and am simulating some scenario's in my LCS demo system. When I create a purchase order what steps do I take to receive the order into the warehouse to which it is being delivered?

Do I need to confirm the purchase order first?

I did confirm the purchase order but don't see any work being created in the Warehouse management  module. How would I receive in the newly created purchase order?

I'm sure i'm missing some steps so please forgive such novice questions.

The work is created by the receiving clerk, when the good actually arrive at the dock.

Thus it is done through the Warehouse Mobile Device Portal, which you need to install through the standard AX installation wizard.

Then you need the corresponding menu items, location directives, work templates and other setup. I assume that if you are using the standard demo data, the only thing you are missing is actually navigating to the mobile device portal (you can use a browser for this), and executing a menu under Inbound\PO receive or whatever it's called in DemoData

Also consider reading through the Warehouse management Implementation guide, as it contains a number of answers for the basic questions already:
