Ribbon Workbench Hide Add Button for Entity

Posted on by 15

Hello guys,

I'm having a problem with Ribbon Workbench. I'm not able to hide the add button from the entity "ent1", on the entity "ent2". It Disables the add button from "ent1" everywhere. I used the Display Rule as it is showed in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RptQcxbNFgc

My question is, is the person in this video doing a mistake or is Ribbon Workbench buggy? Even when I deleted the Display Rule, the button didn't come back. I somehow had to first delete the button and then Import a solution with the button in it.

    Hi Mustafa,

    Hi Mustafa,

Did you click the hide button for the button before adding enable rule?

If so, you need unhide it and then publish, the button will come back.

If not, maybe Browser caching issues, I try to test according video, it can’t hide any Add button from entity1 on all other entity form.

So You can try to use flowing link to test.

It use formEntityContextRule of Display rule to display add button on entity that you need and hide add button on other entities.

    Regards,

    Leah Ju
