Record info access in Asset Management Module

Hi Experts,

Client want restriction on record info tab on Asset Management > All Assets. They don't want to provide access to couple of user roles as they don't want to update the company account template. Can you please advise me the display menu item or control item where I can restrict the user roles from access to this record info button? Though they want to restrict access to company account template, they want to grey out (remove access) to record info button.
