Unable to Create tables using Dynamics NAV 2009 R2

Posted on by 645

Hi all,

I have been using Navison 2009 R2 since a couple of months with SQL server 2008 R2. I am facing an issue to create a table using Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 in the sample data company.

I am getting the following error when I am trying to create a new table using NAV:

I can create tables using SQL server 2008 R2, but unable to create using NAV table create option.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi

    Thankyou

I changed the license and acquired permissions to create a table. Can you send me the link to learn navision completely from the beginning?

The best way is to start working at some partner. You will get the best training and you will use partner license for learning. It's too hard to learn NAV development alone.

    Hi Russel

I know that i am using with Demo license but i am just using it for learning. Can you send some links regarding learning it from the beginning for newer ones using it like me without knowing a single bit about it?

This is Microsoft demo license. You can see, you only have demonstration basic and India localization permissions. You cannot create new table with this license.

    This is cronus demonstration license.

with this license you cannot create tables.

you need to upload your customer/partner license.

    Hi all,

I have checked the user permissions, the user has all the roles required. But when I am trying to synchronize the login, I am getting the following error.

    Mohana,

How do I check the table ID and Permissions of our license. Because this is what appears when I click on license information.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

This for sure is not related with security roles. I know this message and this is standard message that license does not include required object ID.

I think it's a user license (not partner) and if you have not Application Builder or Solution Developer granules, you may create tables only on 50000+ range (if you bought additional tables). Even if you use 50000+ range, you must see license file which object range you can use.

Maybe you have additional tables, but you are wrong with table ID. Maybe you have not additional tables.
