Event API: Token and Endpoints not generated

We are currently working on a native integration of MS Dynamics for our Event Marketing Platform ( https://invitario.com/ ). We would like to post events created on our platform to create MS Dynamics > Customer Insights > Events.
 
In order to achieve this we created an
  • Application under Settings > Web applications.
  • The documentation says that the endpoint and token should be created automatically (See Step 6 and 7)
  • This does not happen and so we cannot end up with no endpoints (pun intended) or the token
 
Anyone know why this happens or if there are certain restrictions on account level / package when using a test account?
 
Sidenote: If anyone has useful tips and tricks on using the event API from Microsoft and would invest the time to share them during a call – we will send you an original chocolate cake from Vienna (Check it out)
