Send and confirm project quotations

Hi,

So I've been having issues with the setup of the project management and accounting module.

Upon creation of aproject quotation (WBS, lines and rates included) I am trying to send a quotation. But I am not able to. I understand that to be able to send a quotation I need to go through the approval workflow. But upon submitting, nothing happens. I am the assignee of the workflow.

Can you please share what the issue might be? Or a working version of the workflow?

I am using a standard Contoso environment, legal entity USSI.

Hi Simeon,

Have you checked if the batch framework is working? Is the job for processing of workflow messages setup and running correctly?

You can also check the workflow history to see if it was already processes, still pending for assignment or ended in an error.

Hi Simeon Ivanov,

I just created a new project quotation in USSI company and it's working fine. In USSI company project quotation has "Auto approval" action setup so it will be approved automatically. Please check your WF history > Under tracking Details tab (It should show you workflow completed)

1st Step: Please refer to the below screen print:

2nd Step: You have to Save/Might refresh the quotation page and goto Quote tab > Process section > Click Send quotation

3rd step: Goto "Follow up" Tab and Confirm the quotation

Hello Simeon,

In addition to the batch framework and the different steps that Junaid shared, double check your workflow.

In many of the demo companies I do some checks, multiple people "play" with setting and sometimes even modify and change workflows that don't properly work then.

Please try to check that this is not the case here or - better - try to get a completely new and 'fresh' demo environment where things should work fine out of the box if nobody messed around with the standard settings :-)
