Hey Guys,

i Just want to set up the Event management Portal on a Powerapps portal.

I Followed the steps described here:

1. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/developer/event-management-web-application

2. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/developer/portal-hosted

And i manually installed the required solutions to install the reuqired components in the Portal Application.

I am receiving the following error message

"Http failure during parsing for https://*******/api/events/published/?ts=158978076235"

I also tried to get the debug messages from the console which says:

"Failed to load resource: the server responed with a status of 404 (not found)" localization/1033.js...?ts=158978076235"

Does anyone have an Idea of fixing this?

Best regards, Sven

    Hello Partner,

I believe you are configuring Portals with Marketing for first time, you should follow the steps here to set-up

    • Launch the Marketing setup wizard for the instance you want to modify. You should be able to see that the Use own webserver option is currently selected.
    • Setup wizard for an existing instance without portal integration
    • Select Use Dynamics 365 Portals. The Portal setup dialog opens and shows some information about what to expect.
    • Portal setup notice
    • Select OK to continue. You go back to the setup wizard, which now shows the Use Dynamics 365 Portals option selected.
    • Setup wizard with the portals option selected
    • In the field now provided under the Use Dynamics 365 Portals option, enter a prefix for your portal URL in the field provided. Your contacts and customers can see the URL when they open a portal, so you should choose a subdomain name that they will recognize, such as your organization's name.
    • Select Set up portal to start setting up your portal. The process may take some time. You can track its progress by leaving the page open in your browser, but installation will continue uninterrupted if you choose to close your browser.

This will enable all the OOB Plugins, APIs and solutions to install and link Marketing with Event Management Portal

    Hey Pranjali,

    Thank you for your answer.

I should add, that this is a trial marketing instance for a Live Demo for one of our Customers. So i cant go into the Installation wizard. So is there a way to do it anyway?

    Beste Regards, Sven
