Custom calculation of opportunity product and quote product

Hi all, we are having trouble managing opportunity product and quota product. Our business involves the sale of licenses, so the calculation should be based on the product of number of licenses come * number of months the license is valid * price per unit -- to follow all discount lists associated with the product. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you very much

    Hi Fedeman,

You can add the license as products and set its "Unit" to Month. Then add them to price list and set the discount list.

    Hi Fedeman ,

    Here you are:

    1. The number of Licenses is Quantity
    2. The Number of Months the License is valid in Unit
    3. The Price per unit

This is how you can map it with the out-of-the-box system.

If I answer your question then please mark it as verified.

Let me know if I can provide you with more details.

    Thanks

Hi Abdul Wahab Abdul, so you mean to set units for each possible duration? e.g. 1 to 24 months?

    Hi Fedeman

It is something similar to 'Unit Group' is Year and 'unit' is Month.

You have bundled. Bundle of the month. 2 months and so on. I think it should be something like this if you want to map it to OTB.

    Hello Fedeman,

As per your requirement you can use the OOB Price List entity which will be more efficient w.r.t to the Product Price. Steve already provided a solution which will cover the base. If user need any custom Price then they can also provide in opportunity product record.

Please refer below article if you need more information related with the Price list entity.

    Thank you,
