Backflushing Production Orders

Hello, I have a question about backflushing production order materials.  If a production item BOM changes after a production order has been released, will NAV 2009 have an issue flushing materials for that production order, or is the BOM for that production order locked at the time of firm planning/release.

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

    Hello,

Yes when the Production Order is created, it makes a copy of the exsiting BOM at that time. If changes happen to the BOM afterward it does not change any Production Orders already created.

Thank you Alex!  That's what most ERP's do and I assumed a NAV did the same.

    Cool. Any time :)
