CMTRX Batch with status of "Receiving" - What happened to get this, how do I correct?

Our bank reconciliation is off and I wonder if it might have anything to do with a CMTRX batch with status of "Receiving". When I select it I get "this batch is receiving transactions". How can I find out what this batch is about and how to either let it complete or otherwise delete it.

    That typically means that someone has the Bank Transaction Entry window open, has entered a transaction and posted, but has not closed the window yet so the system can finish the posting process.  That being said, batches can get held up from time to time so it may need to be freed up.  I'd confirm that no one has that window open first and if not, you can follow this blog to free up the batch:  support.microsoft.com/.../850289

    Thanks Matt. Staff logged out then back in, batch disappeared, bank rec reconciled, problem solved.

    Try to re-enter the transaction with the same document number.  It will force system to put the batch into recovery.   Go to MS Dynamics > Tools > Routines > Batch Recovery and in the pop up window click Continue Button.
