Excel Export Error

Hi

I get the following error when I try to export a grid to excel through the standard excel export button.

Method 'list objects' is not supported by the automation interface of the COM object of class '_Worksheet'

The export is mace from a client machine, from AX 2009 to Excel 2002.

Does anyone have a clue why is error occuring and what needs to be done to fix it?

    Hello Miki,

    Maybe the excel of the client machine needs to be upgraded with a service pack.

    I recommend you to check if this SP was already applied:

    Hi, I also got the same error and i already upgraded Office service pack as Leti mentioned but it still come out with same error. Does anyone can help?

    Hi all,

    Just try it out by closing all the opened Excel sheets in the client machine and then try to Export the Excel. Please provide the feedback after doing the same.

    Hi guys,

    i am facing the same issue as per mentioned in this topic for once of my customers.

    Office version is XP (2002) with SP3 installed.

    tried the suggestion of killing all opened excel sessions inclusive of the task manager processes, but it still does not work.

    anymore ideas before i create a case with MS? your feedback is greatly appreciated. thanks.
