Hi, I have added rights to some users to view case categories and to create them. Soon we checked that, they are not allowed add any attachments in case module. My question is how can i work this out: to not give them much higher rights, but to let them manage to add attachments. I have searched some forums, AX settings also in Organisation Adm . and so on and i couldnt find it. Its beginnign of my adventures with MS AX and im sorry for my english, its not my primary language.Thank You for all replies

Do you enable the Document management?
Can admin user add attachments?
Which right do you assign to users?

In addition to the questions from Mattguo, are the users still having the basic 'System user' role? This role contains the basic permissions for managing attachments.

I'm using AX.
Yes, admin users can add attachments.
Document management is checked. I can see that they are not using any tables in Active document tables. But still I could add an attachment in case section.
Specific user is having internal rights, not the official, created by AX.

Please try to disable the document management.
Do you mean the new button is disabled or attachment form couldn't be opened?
