Priortize orders from specific customers above others in Master Scheduling

Hi all,

Does anyone knows if it's possible to prioritize sales orders from specific customers above orders from other customers. I would like the master scheduling/ CTP will take this into account when checking the availability of the stock.

For example:

We have on stock 1x Item A and we against this order we have an order of a regular customer

Then a second order for this item comes in from a privilaged order.

We would like CTP/ Master Sceduling to assign the item on stock to the privilaged order and create a planned order for the existing regular order.

If above is not possible, are there any other ways to prioritize orders?

Hi Jasper,

This is not possible using CTP / Master scheduling. The Master scheduling is not reallocating reservations; it is trying to create planned purchase or planned production orders to fulfill the demand.

For sales order priorities, you have to consider a customization.
