Hello,

I am new to F&O, and need help about email parameters setup.
We are using latest version on SaaS , and also using Exchange Online.

My questions are:
1. Is it possible to send emails using Exchange API / OAuth / some backend integration, or only via SMTP (where I must have licenses EXO user, with simple user/pass (not using MFA etc))

2. When using Workflows / Email batches (Example approvals), is it possible to specify one / common email that will be Email FROM address, instead sending on behalf of users/employess (where i need to setup EXO mailbox send as permissions, I am trying to avoid that)

Thank you all for your forum responses.

We also did have Microsoft support ticket (Dynamics 365 HR - Issue with workflow and email - TrackingID#2010220040003084) but it did not help, since they also relate to public documentation.

Issue is that public documentation is incomplete and not showing all the option.

Basically, they force, that, for workflows / email batches , it is MANDATORY to use SMTP (as this is only example on all docs and forums), however, as said, we would like to avoid using SMTP sending, and instead use Exchange API directly.

We managed to get this working, without support help.
