Hide new options in view columns

Posted on by 10
Hi all,

I saw new options in view columns and I would like to know if some of these options we can hide to not show to users, below follow some example about it:

Theses options "Column width", "Move to Left" and "Move to Right".

I don't know if these options is by application design or we can hide of some way.

Best regards to all.

    Hi Fiona,

It was a request from the client himself, so I informed him that I would analyze it before giving a final answer to see if there was any possibility of hiding these options.

    Best regards,

    Hi Rafael,

I'm not aware of an easy way to hide these - but out of interest, is there a particular reason why you're wanting to remove them?

This is the same functionality as if a user was to re-arrange the columns using the 'Edit columns' button, and then save their changes as their own personal view. Moving the columns left or right via the new buttons won't update the view for all other users, and if the user doesn't save as a new personal view after moving the columns, the columns will revert to their original placement once the user re-clicks on the view.

Hope this is helpful, if so, please consider marking this answer as verified.

    Kind regards,
    Fiona
