Hi Team,
We have captured an external enquiry form and linked it to Dynamics Marketing form landing page in Marketing Dynamics.
The form is set to update contacts and leads.
But the form matching is not working for contacts and it is creating duplicate contacts.
I have created the contact matching strategy with attributes first name, last name and emailaddress1.
Even changed the contact matching strategy to just email but it still creates duplicate contacts which is not desirable.
Could you please advise what steps i can take to fix this issue?

I'm sorry for late.
The principle of the matching strategy is to query the existing data to compare with the new input data, and adding an additional custom query will not affect the original query.
Maybe it's the effect of another custom code?

Yes, in the landing page i am using the Contact and enquiry matching strategy.
Have double checked the form fields and fileds used in the matching strategies are correct.
Just another question - we have custom code on Enquiry and individual would that be effecting the OOB contact matching strategy?

Have you used the corresponding matching rules here?
It could also be due to incorrect field mapping.
