Hi all, are there are guides anywhere relating to the set up/creation of new Permission Sets in NAV 2013?
Also, could I copy the Super permission Set, but take off being able to execute and delete, but then add in any specific tables where the user could do this, so as they can not do this everywhere, just on the screens I would limit this too?

Yes you can copy any permission set and make a new copy of it and do the modification.
As you mention best way of protecting the data is setting the security to your root tables.
