Hi,

Thanks for reading my question.

I want to create a form like "Cost centers" or "Business Unit" in "General Ledger - Organization - Cost centers"

But i don't know how to do it.

Can you give me instruction how to make form like that.

Hi Phan,

Can you elaborate? Do you want to have it like the default dimensions on e.g. a customer details form? In that case this form contains the example how to achieve it.

Hi Andre,

Thanks for replied my question !

I created my own form

But now i have problem, i don't know how to create relation between left grid (Report Code, Report Name) and right grid (Report_no, Report_Calculation, Report_CreditAccount,......).

About relation between to grids, i meant, i want create 1 row in left gird (Report Code, Report Name) and multi rows in right grid that belong to one row in that left grid and if i create new row in left grid then right grid show new blank grid for me to create multi rows that belong to that new row in left gird

Similar like this :

3 rows of right grid belong to first rows of left grid

2 another rows of right grid belong to second rows of left grid

Can you give me some suggestion how to do it ?

as per my understanding your requirement is to create a form with layout called

Simple list and details - You use the form to view a list of records and a details form at the same time. The detail section of the form shows additional fields for the highlighted record in the list.

Appreciated if you please update us with your findings

you can do this by setting up the relation between the table

and on the form specify the data source join type using LinkType

Hi Nitesh,

I try your link but its not show that i want.

I think i need to write method for save data and show view a list of records and a details form at the same time.

Do youe have any ideal how to do its ?

Hi Phan,

It is like Nitesh tried to explained. You can have a look at some example forms and tables in standard AX.

The two tables should have a relation ship. On the "line" table you specify the relation to the "header" table. Then on the form you add the two tables as datasource. On te "line" datasource you specify a link property.

Then the left grid will have datasource "header". The details grid will have the "line" as datasource.

I have one more problem with my form.

Now, i want disable "Deducted" if "Credit Account" and "Debit Account" is fill.

And if row only have "Credit Account" or "Debit Account" so "Deducted" will be enable.

Can you give me instruction how to do that ?
