Hello everyone,

We have some issues with the file formats in Remote Assist, some of them which are supposed to be supported in Remote Assist doesn’t seems to work.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/mixed-reality/remote-assist/mobile-app/file-sharing

From what I have tested :

Supported in Remote Assist : jpg, png, tiff, pdf

Present in Onedrive but not visible un Remote Assist : mp4, docx, xlsx, pptx, txt

These files cannot be found in the file section of Remote Assist, and if a Teams user try to share these file formats with the HoloLens user during a conversation the file are said « unsupported ».

Does someone have some information on this problem ?

I was looking at the wrong place, it was the file format compatibility for Remote Assist Mobile version.

For the HoloLens version : learn.microsoft.com/.../display-save-files
