Question on Cost price and Costing Sheet

(0) ShareShare

Posted on by 583

I have setup my items to cost items using "Latest Purchase Price".

All the examples I have seen on the internet that demonstrate how to setup costing sheets use a standard cost in its calculations. Is there a tutorial or how do I get to setup my costing sheets, costing versions, cost groups etc. so that it uses cost prices that are the "Latest purchase price" rather than me having to manually type in a cost price for each item.

Or am I missing something about the costing module?

Steve

    Hello Steve,

For some tutorials and examples, please have a look at the AXUG webinars.

Last week Don already did the first series on cost accounting and another three webinars are following.

    www.axug.com/.../webinars

I expect that you will get your questions answered there.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig

Thanks for your response (as usual) ... :)

I tried looking at the link but I just realized that I will have to register and pay in order to see the webinar and I am a little short right now (back to school for kids etc)

so I will have to pass on it.......thanks anyway

    Steve

    Hi Steve,

If you are not a member of the AXUG, then have a look at the following website where Don has published a couple of articles

    msdynamicsworld.com/.../don-riggs

Those can be accessed for free after registration.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
