Hi, we have Dynamics 365 on prem (hosted in Azure) and we have inbound email to case setup server side. If the customer sends an email with an attachment it is really clunky - the case is created and the attachment is saved within Dynamics but to view or open the attachment the user has to download it to their downloads folder and open it from there. This seems a very poor UI.
We have Sharepoint integration enabled for document management but our Dynamics consultants don't seem to know what benefit that has or how we could use this to save email attachments
Documentation online is all about Dynamics Online and not on-prem and I'm a bit stuck. There seem lots of 3rd party plug in solutions for attachment management but when this is all Microsoft technology I can't believe it doesn't do this OOTB.
Can anyone help with both the attachment issue and also how we can utilise our sharepoint integration? Thanks
