in the Automatic Bank Reconciliation should i go for BAI2 or MT940 File format?

Dear 

if i had to choose between BAI2 and MT940 file format which one should i go for? and are there any other formats ?

on which criteria should i select the file format?

in dynamics ax 2012 r2 and higher there is MT940, BA12 and ISO20022 (SEPA) but from what i read each one is region specific

    Hi Silvano,

    It all depends in which country you are using AX 2012 and which formats are compatible with your banking software/service.

    Hi Silvano,

    First thing first you need to check which bank is your customer associated and whether the bank facilitates e-statements in above formats. It may be any format as above AX supports well. There might be small tweaks required as per formats.

    That would be an option, yes. Usually consultants and key users know which formats are used within a country.
