Display Distinct values in Parameter drop down in Ax2009 SSRS

Hi All,

I created a Data set and added one field in the filter..

Added new parameter..

Added to field from same data set  to values property of parameter..

 

It displaying duplicate values...

 

I want to display parameter drop down with unique values..

 

Please Suggest me....Urgent..

    Hi Krishna,

               It's not a problem in VS. It usually display all the values that ur tables contained in it.

               If u open ur report from ur client (AX), that dropdown may show only unique values.

               Check it from ur client.

    Krishna ,

    I would suggest you to create a data set for dropdown that returns  unique values from the table field.

    Since you are using ax 2009, dataset can be pointed to a query which has group by on the field if the filed is not primary index for the table.

    I am against using the same dataset field to populate the bounded parameter values used by it.
