Dimension

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi!

I've this problem:

I had to change a dimension in GL entry , I changed it using SQL Management , I updated the dimension ID field and the global dimension field on the GL entry table. is it correct? are there any other tables I have to fill ?

Firstly, you should not use the SQL to update the data. The Dimension Set ID represents the dimensions for that entry and fields on the entry like Shortcut Dimension 1 Code and Shortcut Dimension 2 code. IF you have updated them you should be good but don't use SQL.
