On Sales Invoice you can have the field Work Description where you can add text.

Unfortunately, this functionality is not yet there / enabled. Maybe this is a good idea to file it as a product suggestion. At my test tenant, this (BLOB) field is only enabled for Sales Orders, not Sales Invoices. You may have a later tenant then I do have.
