Ledger Allocation Process stuck

Hi Dear D365 Community,

I've checked numbers of posts in various places but cannot find any clue to the problem I'm facing.
We're running D365 Finance Operations 10.0.37  (10.0.1725.47) and we're stuck in an Allocation Process but only on one Ledger Allocation Group, containing 2 Ledger Allocation Rules, each one of them containing quite a high number of Destination.

Few information: the Allocation Process is running fine on the others Allocation Groups, which aren't that heavy as the Group we're struggling with. This Allocation Process for this particular group was ok but this issue happened after a refresh of the DB with Prod data.

I was trying, first, to see how I could /kill/ the process in /executing/ status but I don't know the corresponding batch for this process, if any.

Any clue on this ?

On a later stage I'll investigate on what possible root cause could affect this process.

Thanks a lot

Yann

    Hi Gentlemen,

many thanks to you both for your answers. Actually there is a customisation that's right, the thing is that it worked well once on our Acceptation environment and didn't work right after the DB refresh.
Even before troubleshooting and see what the problem is I wanted to see how I could kill the ongoing process, so no error message popping up actually, the end-user can only see the  process running for ever.
I'm a bit lost as I can't figure out which (if any) batch is running once we've launcghed the allocation process.

    Thanks again

    Hi,
In this case, it seems that the problem may be related to the refresh of the database with production data. When such issues occur after a database refresh, it's important to thoroughly investigate any potential data inconsistencies or differences between the refreshed and original data. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
Check Logs and Error Messages: Look for any specific error messages or warnings related to the stuck allocation process in the system logs or event viewer. This might provide clues about the root cause of the issue.
Database Integrity: Verify the integrity of the data after the database refresh. Ensure that all necessary data is properly synchronized and consistent with the production environment.
Batch Jobs: If you need to stop the execution of the allocation process, check for any associated batch jobs. You may be able to find and cancel the relevant batch job from the Batch Job history form.
    Best regards,
    Kevin

    Hi Yann,

Do you have the same issue in your production environment? If not, are there version differences between production and this environment? Can probably a customization cause another behavior? What is the exact behavior? Is a process running forever, or do you get errors?
