The starting position of the check is too far down

We have a client running AX 2012 R3 CU8.  They have no problems printing / displaying normal checks.  When they go to Cash and Bank Management / Checks, find a "paid" check, and click "Print check copy", they get the error: "The starting position of the check is too far down on the page."  The strange thing is that this ONLY happens on the remote desktop server that all the users run the AX client off of.  When I log directly into the AOS servers (this is a 2 AOS system), the check copy comes up on the screen without issue.  I rebooted all the servers in the environment last night and that did not fix anything.  According to the client, this was working previously.  No changes have been made to the system (or check layout).

Why can they get the check copy to come up on the screen when running the AX client directly on either AOS server and not from the remote desktop installation?

Thank you in advance

Ford

Hi Ford,  how did you resolve the error please? We have a similar issue with Dynamics 2009.  Thanks, M Shetty

I would suspect different default printer settings set for your AX AOS and your RDS host. Have a look at how the printers are mapped on your RDS (drivers are directly installed, printer server, or they are deployed on the AOS and are redirected via AX configuration), and what are their default settings, since that is stored by the host where the users are running the client from.
