I went through all of the steps to get Guides set up on my PC. Created an organization, I went into the microsoft admin center and made sure I had a license assigned to my account to use ( a trial license), but everytime I open the PC app and try to sign in, I get an error message that says, "Guides isn't set up correctly, or you may not have permission to access it." I definitely have permission to access it, so the error must be in setup, but all I have done is download the app, so how is it not setup correctly? I don't get it. Please any advice or recommendations to try would be helpful. Thank you!!

Can you please check two things:
1) Have you assigned an 'author' security role in Power Apps admin center to your user account? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/mixed-reality/guides/assign-role
2) If yes and you still encounter this error, you might have a firewall blocking your connection to the Dataverse environment. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/mixed-reality/guides/admin-deployment-playbook#network-access
