    Hi Ameen,

Have you tried to recompile your environment? If another user on another client tries to do this setup, will it have the same crash?

Yes Mr. André Arnaud de Calavon

I tried with both the ways but no use.... crashing the server..

    Hi Ameen,

There can be a trick to be executed:

    Stop the AOS service(s)

In the AX program files server directory find the find axapd.aoi.

Copy this file to a backup location.

Delete the file from the AX program files server directory (for all AOS servers)

    Restart the AOS service(s)

The file will be rebuild (can take about 10-15 minutes) and contains application object indexes. Probably there is a corrupt reference.

PS. Before you start, make sure you have a backup of your database. When this operation fails, you can replace the backup file and restore the database.

    Hi,

The AXAPD.aoi is used as Application Object Index. It is an index file. In some cases I have seen a corrupt file. I can't verify your problem further.
