Activities Not Refreshing when marked complete

I was wondering if someone could help me, we are currently having an issue where when a user marks an activity - Task or Phone call - complete it still shows on the activities screen as an open activity, then when you click into the activity that we have just marked complete, it shows that the record is read only as the record status is set to complete.

Then once we go back to the activities screen it still shows until the user then refreshes the screen that they are on, previously it would auto update the screen to only show active activities.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

    Hi Mohamed,

    We are using the  my Activities view, below is how the view is filtered.

    Before September last year we had been using this view with no issues.

    The main problem we have is when we click into an activity then make that as complete, when we go back to the my activities the activity we have just completed still shows within this view, when it should only be anything that is opened or scheduled.

    One Thing I have noticed is the bottom filter keeps showing when I click on edit filters, and no matter where I look I can't find it anywhere to remove it from the View, i am not sure if this is causing the screen to not refresh like it had done previously after we have completed an activity.

    Try to modify the view, you have many standard views as shown in the figure below

    Hi Tom,

    Can you check the filters of your view ? You must be sure that the Opened activities view has the filter " state <> Closed

    Hello Tom,

    If you are referring to the activity views then yes we will have to refresh it and then it will show correct status.

    As a suggestion you can use open activity view so that once you refresh the view it will filter completed record from the view.
