How to hide new button in search list results?

Dear community. I need to hide New button. When I edit parent entity I need only to search and relate child entity without create new child entity option. How I can hide this button?

Hi ,

You need to remove "CREATE" permission of the lookup entity from assigned user security role. This is only the supported way you can do this.
