In electronic reporting, we have tried to migrate a report in the XML format but while migrating from one model to another i am getting this error "Cannot overwrite version". Please help me on this?

Different versions could be a problem. Another way to try and transfer the ER model/configuration in this way is to download the model and configuration from LCS again. By downloading content from the LCS, you can be sure to get the latest version compatible with other systems.

This issue happen when you modify the old model and try to import.
I would suggest deleting the old model from the new system and try uploading a new one.
