Ability to quickly edit Order Product items on the Order form

Hello,

I am looking for a way to quickly update the price per unit of an order product item.  However, when using a subgrid on the order form the order product price per unit is locked.  Also, Excel online doesn't allow PPU to be updated.  Does anyone have any workarounds?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

Did you enable the Editable Grid on the order lines?

Also, if you would like to unlock the PPU field by default, you need to set Use System pricing calculation to No in the System Settings:

    • Go to Advanced Settings -> Administration -> System Settings.
    • On the Sales tab, set the Use System pricing calculation to No.

This will enable the override price option by default, so you can enter the PPU.

    Hi partner,

Whether the Price Per Unit field in the sub-grid is locked is controlled by the Pricing field of Order Line.

    • If the value of the Pricing field is "Use Default", the Price Per Unit field is locked.
    • If the value of the Pricing field is "Override Price", the Price Per Unit field is unlocked.

Therefore, we need to batch update the Pricing field of Order Line to "Override Price", and then we can quickly edit the Price Per Unit field.

In addition, you mentioned Excel Online, but all you need to do is edit the Price Per Unit column and change the Pricing column to "Override Price" and it will work. That means you need to edit both fields.
