Unable to register device or import registered device
IoT Connector Not Enabled in D365:
Go to Field Service Settings > Field Service Settings record.
Ensure “Enable IoT Integration” is set to Yes.
IoT Hub Connection Missing or Incorrect:
In IoT Settings in D365, confirm the IoT Hub Name, Connection String, and Event Hub-compatible endpoint are correctly entered and saved.
Ensure the shared access policy used has "Registry Read", "Service Connect", and "Device Connect" permissions.
IoT Connector Not Installed or Activated:
Go to Advanced Settings > Solutions.
Confirm the IoT Connector for Microsoft Dynamics 365 is installed and not in a failed state.
Missing Azure Event Grid Subscription or Permissions:
Ensure Event Grid is set up correctly to push events from IoT Hub to D365.
Confirm webhook endpoint is configured and reachable.
IoT Alerts Processing Disabled:
Navigate to IoT Alerts in D365.
Ensure that IoT alert processing is not disabled (check IoT provider setup).
