Extend the FormGridControl's column menu

Posted on by 20
Sorry if this question sounds a bit simple but I'm really struggling to find information on D365 Fin ops development.

Is it possible to extend the FormGridControl's column menu and if so, could you give me some pointers on how I should go about it?

I'd like to add an additional button to this drop down:

Thanks Martin.  I wanted to set an entire column to the same value (it's a lookup column).  I already have the logic in the action pane, I was just thinking that I might be able to add it to the column menu too.

I doubt that it's possible. The grid control would have to support such a scenario.

I think you'll need to use a usual approach, such as placing your button in an action pane above the grid.

Just as a matter of interest, what logic would you like to add there? Maybe we can suggest how to achieve it, or maybe it could be logged as feature request.
