Hello

In our company s.o. posted a purchase order for an Item with value = 0. Now the Item cost price hast crashed.

How can I fix the problem to set a proper item cost price for the item?

Best regards

Chris

    Hi CRSW,

Can you share a screenshot of the form you have opened for the revaluation including the error? I would like to understand how to reproduce this.

Yes, there is on-hand quantity available

Do you still have on-hand quantity for this item? If not, you can't revaluate. You can't adjust transactions for moving average like other actual costing methods such as FIFO, LIFO and weighted average.

This is not possible because there is message during posting: "There are no receipt transactions to be edited"

    Hi Chris,

If the posting was an invoice posting, then you can use the 'Revaluation for moving average' option to update the current value of the on-hand quantity which can be found in the 'Cost management' menu.

Hi I am sorry. Was off for a couple of days. The costing model is moving average

    Hi Chris,

Can you explain what you mean with a crashed item cost price? What inventory costing model are you using?
