There’s a default Schedule mode set on the Project parameter page, and also a field Project level schedule mode override permitted which can be Yes or No.
I’ve found that changing the default Schedule mode forces a newly created project to use this Schedule mode, but I’ve noticed that setting the Project level schedule mode override permitted to Yes has no effect…I cannot change the Schedule mode on a project. When I create the Project draft from an Opportunity line, the Schedule mode field is locked and not editable.
I expected this field would be editable, based on this article.
Does anyone know if this is a known issue?
Is this your experience - where you can in fact update the Schedule mode on a project?
