French labels in report not working

Hi all,

I have a custom report for two different languages i.e. English and French. The report used to work before but after we upgraded to CU12 and since then the labels for the French report is not working. The French report will be printing in English only inspite of using the correct labels.

Any idea how this can be fixed?

I have already re-deployed all the reports, restarted the ssrs service, imported the custom labels again, but no help.

    RetailTransaction report. I have just added the labels for the French which are OOB - but French text does not seem to be working anymore.

    Check if SysLabel::labelId2String(literalstr('@SYS1'), 'Fr') returns the correct text ?

    If not there might be some issue deploying labels.

    Hi Ram,

    Yes it returned "Transactions horaires" in French, but the report still doesn't work.

    Hi Ludwig,

    I still have the issue with my report, the French words doesn't show up for my report (still prints in English).

    Hi Meethu,

    navigate path

    \\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\MicrosoftDynamicsAX\bin\Application\Appl\Standard

    See if you have the label file for France, open the file using notepad and verify if you can find your label ID and text there.

    If you can't find you label Id in that file, there might be issue with the label file upgrade you did.

    The notepad has the labels in French, but the ssrs report still executes the report in English version instead of French.

    Hi ram,

    I am wondering where are the sys_fr label files stored because if I search for any syslabels @sys4701 in  visual studio and select fr as language I dont see it but if I use the mentioned code SysLabel::labelId2String(literalstr('@SYS1'), 'Fr')

    I am getting the french label
