Unable to open AX during code upgrade in BUS layer

Can anyone tell me when we perform code upgrade, do we need to change the client configuration to switch on each layer and then perform code upgrade. If yes. when I put the license code of BUS in ISV and run AX it doesn't open in ISV layer. Please help in this regard.

Hi,

From which version are you upgrading to what AX 2012 version? You used the tag AX2009, so assuming this is the base.

The license file for AX 2012 is different. Try to use the AX 2012 license development codes.

I am upgrading from AX2009. I have put AX 2012 license but still not able to open client in ISV and VAR layer.
