Hi Everyone,

Hope you guys are doing well.

I have a custom Integer field for which I also have created an Integer EDT in Purchline. I want display this field as million with thousand separator (For Instance - 1,000,000) at form level.
Can any one suggest any solution how to achieve this preferably without any coding; And if any coding involved please do mention that too.

Thanks in Advance!
I have the same question (0)

Are you saying that you want a different formatting for this one integer field than for all remaining integer fields? If so, I think you'll need to convert the number to a string in a particular format and use a string edit control (bound to a display method, for example). But I wonder whether introducing such an inconsistency in UI is a good idea.

    Hi Martin,

Thankyou so much for the reply.

The answer suggested by you involves coding. I actually don't want add the code as even you suggested introducing such an inconsistency in UI is a good idea or not.
Can this be achieved through any other method like setting up the property of the EDT for my custom INT field or changing the property of my INT field at table level. Or even changing the property of the INT field control at form level.

    Thankyou again!

This is what would cause the inconsistency in user interface, because this one integer field would behave differently than every other integer field. It has nothing to do with whether you'll use code or not; the question is what behavior you want to get.
