I am having a challenge launching a UNC Shared external application from Dynamics GP 2015 Web Client. When I remote into the server and login into the fat client, I can launch the external program from Quicklinks. However when I attempt to initiate the same link from web client I get the dialogue below:
I would like to understand what happens in the background that results in the above dialogue box being returned.
I have checked for entries in the Quicklinks table and associated with the relevant users.
Security and Permissions have been granted to all users launching the app via web client.
From the network the application can be launched directly.
Please point me in the right direction.
