How do I reverse the closing transaction.

Hi,

Please let me know how do I reverse the posted transactions. I have posted the closing transactions through closing sheet and opening transaction process. But while posting some the value are posted wrong fingers. So I what to revert it. How can I achieve this..?

    Hi Shambhu S,

    You can make your corrections in the old year and simply run the year end closing process again.

    Running it again will delete what has been posted before and will correct your opening Transactions.

    Thanks for the reply

    The process which I was did that in the consolidation company. will it be possible to make a corrections in consolidation company..?

    Hi Shambhu S,

    If the wrong figures are posted in one of the companies that need to be consolidated, then you have to make the corrections there first before doing the consolidations.

    If you only make a little mistake with the closing sheet and the closing-opening process then you should be able to do that in the consolidation company directly. Running the closing-opening process after making your corrections in the closing sheet should fix the issue then.
